FAQs

What is the difference between Softwashing and power washing?

Softwashing is a cleaning process that uses low or “soft” pressure techniques with the ideal mix of detergents and water to clean whatever outdoor surface you desire.  Powerwashing uses a high pressure hose and wand to blast grime and dirt from the surfaces.  It also uses hot water. Softwashing only uses up to 100 PSI, protecting your property from potential high pressure damage. Power washers use approximately 2,000 to 3,000 PSI.

Will it hurt my landscaping?

We pride ourselves in plant property protection.  Our crew has extensive training in proper pre and post soft washing procedure to protect your plants, trees, and grass.

What do you use to clean my roof?

We use low pressure and biodegradable soaps and detergents to remove any harmful materials from your roof.  We also use a surfactant that clings to your roof and lifts the Gloeocapsa Magma and other organic growth from the surface.

Do you use a pressure washer?

Surface and stain removal requires high pressure washing.  Higher pressure is mainly used on concrete, patios, decks, dumpster pads, walk ways, and sidewalks.

How long does the process take?

The process can take anywhere from 1 hour to a few 8 hour sessions spread over a couple of days depending on the size of the project. It also depends on how far your home is from the road, if there is a lot of delicate landscaping, if there are a lot of peaks on your roof. This question can better be answered when we see your property and you receive a quote for a specific project.

Is it safe for my dogs and children?

YES! All of our products are biodegradable.  Our technicians thoroughly rinse the grass, landscaping, and surrounding areas once a project is near completion. Making sure all of the solutions, detergents, and surfactants are washed away is apart of the process.

Do you offer recurring services?

YES!  Not only do we offer recurring services, we highly recommend them so that we are always ahead of the game.  We offer weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly services for both residential and commercial locations and projects.
